Компанията Drop Top Customs подготви за предстоящия тунинг салон

SEMA в Лас Вегас (2-5 ноември) нов боди кит наречен T-Top за новия Chevrolet Camaro.

През 90-те години подобен покрив бе използван от моделите на Pontiac, но след като марката вече не съществува и няма подобно предлагане, от компанията решиха да използват Chevrolet за подобен експеримент. Изглежда идеята е наистина добра, защото това се харесва на клиентите на марката.   

Camaro с подобен покрив тип тарга ще бъде на разположение на клиентите, малко след като отвори салона SEMA, а цената за T-Top комплекта е $ 6500.

Camaro Convertible бе обявено през 2007 година на автомобилното изложение в Детройт, когато бе лансирана концептуалния модел.  

 

Camaro Convertible с класически покрив от плат ще се задвижва от познатите двигатели, както и 3.6-литров V6 (с 312 к.с.) и 6.2L V8 с 426 коня.
 Стандартно ще се предлага шестстепенна механична предавателна кутия, а като опция ще се предлага и шестстепенна автоматична. 

 

Продажбите ще започнат през февруари 2011 г. на цена от $ 30 000 (за базовата версия на двигателя V6), и нагоре.

Hurst Redline Series Camaro

Американската Hurst Performance Vehicles вече предлага тунинг на Camaro с 3,6-литров V6 двигател.

Името на тунинг пакета е Redline Series Camaro, с турбо и нова спортна изпускателна система Hurst. Колата е снабдена с 360 коня и 433 Nm въртящ момент. Hurst също така заяви, че Camaro Redline Series изразходва 30% по-малко гориво от заводския Chevrolet Camaro СС с 6.2-литров V8 двигател.

Stevenson Motorsports have entered two Camaros in the Continental Challenge Gran Sport class. They entered one Camaro in the 2009 race at Virginia International Raceway.It was driven by Jeff Bucknum and David Donohue, sons of Ronnie Bucknum and Mark Donohue. Ronnie and Mark were the drivers of the original Trans Am Camaro.

John Stevenson confirmed during the Montreal round of the 2009 Rolex Sports Car Series season that Pratt & Miller are working on GT Camaros to replace the Pontiac GXP.R. Stevenson Motorsports will be entering Camaros in the 2010 Rolex Sports Car Series season.The drivers will be Andrew Davis, Robin Liddell, and Jan Magnussen for the #57 machine and Mike Borkowski and Gunter Schaldach for the #97 machine.


TC Motorsports have entered two Camaros in the Continental Challenge for the 2010 season. Also entered is the aforementioned Sunoco Camaro, which debuted in the final round of the 2009 season.
